Privacy Policy

RoughLine AV is made by Automated Smart Living LLC ("we", "us"). It is a design tool for audio-video and smart-home integrators, available at roughlineav.com and as an app for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We collect what we need to run your account and store your projects. Nothing more.
- We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
- We don't use analytics or advertising SDKs.
- You can export your projects at any time and delete your account from inside the app.

We don't collect your location, contacts, or browsing history.
The iPhone and iPad app uses the camera only when you choose to: to attach a site photo, to scan a room or wall (with LiDAR on devices that have it), or to preview a design on your wall in augmented reality. Scanning and AR run on your device. Only the measurements that come out of a scan, such as wall lengths and ceiling height, are saved with your project; the camera images used for scanning and AR are not stored or sent to us.
If you work offline without an account, your projects stay on your device and we receive nothing.
Payment
Subscriptions are purchased on roughlineav.com and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of payment data is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers to run RoughLine AV. They process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase: database, sign-in, and file storage for your account and projects
- Vercel: hosting for roughlineav.com
- Stripe: subscription payments
- Google, Microsoft, and Apple: sign-in, only if you choose to sign in with one of them
We share project data with other people only when you do: by adding team members to your company, or by creating a client link.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and projects while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, projects, and photos within 30 days, except where we must keep records (such as payment history) to meet legal obligations.
Your choices
- Export: download any project from File → Download a copy.
- Correct: edit your profile and projects in the app at any time.
- Delete: in the app, open the Account menu and choose Delete account. This deletes your sign-in right away, along with any workspace where you are the only member and its projects, plans and photos. You can also email us at info@automatedsmartliving.com and we'll do it for you.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights to access, correct, or delete your information, or to object to how we use it. Contact us to use any of them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to each project is limited to your account and the team members you add. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects it.
Children
RoughLine AV is a professional tool and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know by email or in the app.
